#9: we’re no longer together
I watched as your laptop died beneath your fingers while you kept typing anyway, stubborn to the end. You groaned softly, tension gathering in your shoulders, in your jaw, in the silence between us.
This morning, I would have reached for the charger before you asked. I would have plugged it in, leaned down, and kissed you slowly until the frustration left your body in quiet pieces.
But it is no longer morning.
And we are no longer together.

Esoteric and beautiful. I enjoy the way you write !! M.
This hits hard!
